Pair of Victorian 1914 Benson Hotel, Portland Petite Food Covers
Quite a lovely pair of Victorian petite food covers dating to 1914 from the historic Benson Hotel, located in downtown Portland, Oregon.
The Benson opened in 1913 and is still in existence today.
These charming little covers could have been for seafood plates, or any small dishes. They measure 7-1/2" long by 5-3/4" wide and 5" tall to the top of the handles.
The fronts have a raised, "HB" logo of the hotel.
Nice condition with a bright shiny patina. Light scratches commensurate with age. One of the domes is a little out of shape on the base as depicted in the photos.
Manufactured by International Silver Company and dated 1914.
An extra-special set for your hotel silver collection!
