Exquisite c. 1840 14 carat gold mourning brooch. The brooch consists of a beautiful chalcydony stone. The center of the stone has hair under glass surrounded by turquoise stones. The setting is extremely ornate and 14 carat gold. "c" clasp on the back. Brooch measures 1-3/4" by 1-3/4." Excellent condition.
