Quite an interesting, decorative pair of French binoculars or opera glasses, pre-dating the Art Deco period. The glasses work by lifting the center bar (easel) and flipping the lenses up. The bar is adjustable. Ornate silver metal filigree design. Marked, "MARS BTee FR & ETRm, Modele Depose." The glasses measure 4" by 2-1/2" when completely flat. Good condition.
