Fabulous primitive oil on canvas of a Greyhound dog and rabbit. This was acquired at an old San Francisco estate. It most likely dates to the late 1800's, possibly early 1900's. Photos don't do it justice. It is framed in a gilt wood gesso frame. The frame measures 25-1/2" by 19" by 1-3/4." There is damage and loss to the frame as noted in the photos.
The painting itself measures 18" by 11-3/4." There is a repair on the dog's hind leg as noted in the photos. Great naive painting. Unsigned. Nice colors, well executed and great size!
