A lovely mid-1800's sign acquired from a San Francisco Bay Area estate. The sign reads, "ALBERT BLUM," and measures 73" long by 8" wide. It is reverse painted glass with inlaid mother of pearl. There are areas where you can see old newspaper peering through. The frame is copper. Most likely copper over wood. It has tarnished over the years, giving it an exquisite patina. A lovely early sign most likely from an office.
