Snoot If You Must ~ Beebe ~ 1st Ed.

Written by Lucius Beebe. D. Appleton-Century Company, NY-London, 1943. First edition, first printing. 296 pages.

This work of non-fiction about Manhattan social life in the 1930's makes that decade a lot of fun. Lucius Beebe was the society and theatre columnist for the New York Herald Tribune, and in this book he remembers all of the merriment of that turbulent decade, with particular focus "on the gusty, the glamorous, and hilarious."

Book is in very good condition. Hard cover with pictorial dust jacket. Some small edge tears to the dust jacket, protected in a Mylar cover.
