This enormous life-size Mardi Gras mask has been in my collection for a decade. What a perfect time to part with it... on Mardi Gras!
Dating to the 1930's or 40's, it is made of paper mache and quite sturdy. It measures approx. 17" tall, 15" wide, and 14" deep. Brilliant features. There are pin holes at the bottom, where it attached to a costume. Overall good condition with some areas of paint loss and small tears at the base of the chin and above the nose. A rare and excellent piece of Mardi Gras memorabilia!
