Gorgeous 1920's large water pitcher from the legendary Palace Hotel in San Francisco. This pitcher holds 6-1/2 cups of liquid. It measures a bit over 7-1/2" tall and 9" from handle to spout. It has a lovely blue, gold and red crest on the front that reads, "Palace Hotel PH." Pitcher is trimmed in gold with an ornate handle. Manufactured by Bauscher China. Bottom markings, read, "Bauscher China Weiden Bavaria Arthur Schiller and Son. Chicago. 1928. Especially made for the Palace Hotel San Francisco."
Superb condition; no chips, cracks or crazing. Outstanding large piece.
