Lovely vintage sugar bowl and creamer from the historic Fairmont Hotel atop San Francisco's Nob Hill. The sugar bowl is quite early, dating to 1929. It has the earlier Fairmont logo on the front with the double "F" and is manufactured by Gorham. It measures 3-3/4" long, 2" tall and 3" wide. It holds 4 oz. Lovely condition with a nice interior and bright, shiny patina.
The creamer is not as early as the sugar bowl, as noted by the engraved, "Fairmont Hotel" on the front, which was later than the double "F" logo. Manufactured by Gorham and in excellent condition inside and out.
This is quite a beautiful set, with the sugar bowl being on the rare side.
