Lovely deep cranberry colored teapot from the Helmsley Hotel in New York, currently call the New York Palace Hotel. The teapot measures 5" tall and 8-3/4" from handle to spout. Very fine gold trim around the rim of the lid and top. Excellent condition; no chips or cracks, just one small white spot in the glaze on the lid. The bottom of the teapot is marked "Made expressly for The Helmsley of New York Mayer China Beaver Falls, PA USA 390." Quite a beautiful piece.
