Striking handled sugar bowl from the Mark Hopkins atop San Francisco's Nob Hill. This sugar bowl dates to 1926 and is a nice size of 10 oz. It could probably used for sauce or gravy as well. It measures 6-1/4" from handle-to-handle, 5" tall and 4" wide. The faint raised logo remains on the front. This has been professionally polished by a silversmith and have a beautiful bright shiny patina. Interior has some wear from use, but can still be used for serving. Bottom markings, MARK HOPKINS 1926 Gorham 10 oz." Date symbol is also 1926.
