Pair of 19th C. French Inlaid MOP Butler's Brushes
Fabulous antique pair of French Butler's brushes. These were acquired in France and date to the late 19th century, early 20th century. Each has shimmering mother of pearl inlay with a Chinoiserie motif. The brushes measure 13-1/2" long and approx. 1-1/2" wide. One black, one brown. Beautiful serpentine shape. The black does have damage to each end with areas of missing wood and mother of pearl. Personally, this does not detract from its old beauty. These make terrific decorative accents!
