Decorative mid 20th century glazed ceramic Quan Yin "head" lamp. Beautiful in person. This lamp looks like a statue, but when you turn it around there is a socket and switch for a single light bulb. When lit, the light radiates a beautiful glow behind it.
The lamp measures 15" tall, approx. 8" wide and 7-1/2" deep. It is in nice condition with no chips or cracks. There is a hairline crack on the backside (as noted in the photos) where the socket is. When I purchased it there was a large light bulb in it. I believe the heat of the bulb created the hairline. The hairline does not effect the lamp in any way. I have now replaced the large bulb with a small chandelier bulb with low wattage.
