Lovely 28 ounce teapot from the legendary Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Teapot could be used for two servings and measures 7" tall and 7-1/2" from handle to spout. Lid and base have the fancy Art Deco motif, famous for the Waldorf. Teapot has been professionally polished by a silversmith. It is good condition with a bright, shiny patina. There are small scratches/dings throughout commensurate with use. Interior is clean enough to use. Bottom markings read, "The Waldorf-Astoria 1931 International Silver Soldered 28 oz." Wonderful piece of hotel silver from one of the finest hotels!
