Very rare bound New York Times newspapers dating from September 1-15, 1931. The cover is a brown linen cloth and holds the bound papers. It is absolutely amazing. Not only is it historic and newsworthy, there are spectacular ads from the period. The volume is quite large, measuring 23" by 17-1/2." Weighs between 15-20 pounds. It is in good condition for such an old piece. There may be areas of page folds and creases, but overall, excellent shape.

This is a striking piece of history from the finest newspaper of from the finest newspaper of its day. It looks lovely on a large table or bookshelf. I've never seen anything like it. Simply amazing!
