Lovely Georgian 15 carat gold and jet mourning ring. There are 8 French jet stones and a replacement mother of pearl center. The center originally would have had hair under glass. It's actually quite pretty with the mother of pearl. The ring is engraved in French and I can't decipher the words. What I can see is "Elizabeth Dyke 1821-45. The ring is unmarked but tested as 15 carat gold.The ring measures 1/2" across. US size 6. Total weight 2.4 grams.
