Lovely teapot from the Hotel Carlton in Cannes. The InterContinental Carlton Cannes is a 343-room luxury hotel built in 1911, located at 58 La Croisette in Cannes on the French Riviera and listed by the Government of France as a National Historic Building. This shapely teapot measures 7" tall and 7-3/4" from handle to spout. Beautiful detail on the teapot. "CARLTON" faintly remains across the front. The patina of this pot is beautiful with very light use. The interior does have a fair bit of wear and silver loss. European hallmarks on underside. A fine piece of hotel silver from France!
