Lovely old glass paperweight from Lourdes, France. One of the most popular of all Roman Catholic shrines and reputed to be a place of miraculous healing, Lourdes is located in the region of the Hautes-PyrTnTes in southwestern France.
Scalloped paperweight measures 3-1/4" in diameter and 1-1/4" thick. Reads, "Souvenir de Lourdes." Some of the image has peeled away over the years, as noted in the photos. Still quite old and charming souvenir from the famous Lourdes.
