Antique Contrexeville, France MOP Scent Bottle
Gorgeous 19th century mother of pearl scent bottle from
a health resort in Northeastern France. Founded in 1760, the Spa became renowned in the Edwardian era and still exists today. This lovely bottle is engraved, “Souvenir of Contrexeville” and measures 4-1/2” long to the top of the chain ring and approx. 1-1/2” wide. Overall nice condition with a small hairline crack on the back as noted in the photos. A beautiful early French souvenir.
