Fabulous decorative "tango prize" trophy from 1914. This shapely trophy is engraved, "TANGO PRIZE TROPHY CAPITAL BEACH JULY-10-14." Back side, "WON BY PHEBE FOLSOM AND JOHN CHAS. WRIGHT." Trophy is silverplate with fancy reticulated handles and a black wooden base. It measures 12-3/4" to the top of the handles and 7" wide from handle to handle. Overall condition is good. There is some light plate wear to spots. Trophy has areas of tarnish and could be polished more if desired. Let's tango!
