Scarce first edition (1939) of Decorating is Fun!; How to Be Your Own Decorator, by the famous interior designer Dorothy Draper. This edition is published by Doubleday, Doran & Company, Inc., New York, 1939. Book is green cloth hardcover with a green striped dust jacket and pink and white striped endpapers. Filled with many black and white line drawings. Very fine condition with some minor wear on the edges of the dust jacket, a small white scratch and small 1/2" closed tear on the front cover. Owner's name inscribed on inside endpaper. 244 pages. Beautiful, tight copy. Jacket is protected in a Mylar cover.
This first edition is very rare, a true collector's book.
