Elegant carafe from the Hotel Roosevelt in New York City dating to 1925. This pitcher/carafe measures 10" tall and 7" from handle to spout. Pitcher is glass with silverplate frame. Note the detail on the top and bottom rim, as well as, the quite fancy handle. Markings are under the base of the handle; "The Roosevelt New York International Silver Co. Silver Soldered." Date mark is 1925. This carafe is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. There is some scratching and wear to the glass but does not effect the beauty of the piece. Excellent to serve both hot or cold beverages.
