This is one of the most elegant and whimsical chandeliers I've acquired. Italian in origin and dating to c. 1940's, there is much to say about this beauty. It has a gilt tole leaf frame with with beaded arms, unusual Swarovski "pointy" prisms topped with glass amber flowers that hang from small macaroni beads. I've never seen crystals like that before. There are crystal "florettes","macaroni" chain and a faceted crystal ball on the bottom. There is a most unusual "twisting" of beading cascading up to the top of the chandelier, something I've not seen before on beaded chandeliers. This chandelier twinkles in person. With the slightest of movement, the little prisms gently move, giving it a most interesting look. As you can see, I love this fixture! It has 6 candle sockets and comes with its original gilt ceiling cap. It is in excellent working order and measures approx. 28" tall by 25." There is only one missing amber bead, amazing for such an old piece. Superb!
