Fabulous, extra-large 2 pint sugar bowl from the Mark Hopkins Hotel atop Nob Hill in San Francisco. It measures 4" tall and 4-1/2" in diameter, not including the tab handles. There is a fancy embossed crest on the front with "Hotel Mark Hopkins" engraved in script. Bright shiny patina with little wear. Sparkling clean interior. Excellent condition. Bottom markings read, "Reed & Barton Silver Soldered 2P MARK HOPKINS." Most likely dates to the mid-1900's.
