Large Mark Hopkins Hotel, S.F. Banquet-Size Food Server
Stunning large vintage food server from the Mark Hopkins Hotel atop Nob Hill in San Francisco. This was used for large banquets in the ballrooms. I've never seen a server this large.
It is quite ornate with fancy handles, curved feet and a raised monogram on both sides of the top. It measures 27" wide, 17" tall and 14" deep. There are three pieces; the base, pan and cover. It is missing the burner which wouldn't be too hard to replace. Gorgeous, bright patina with very little wear.
This would be amazing for serving a large party. It's so stunning that it could sit on a sideboard and make a statement.
