This late 19th century puzzle is from France and is quite a conversation piece. It consists of 35 wooden blocks with different paper graphics on each side that form a puzzle. Quite unique. Since each cube has 5 sides, there are 5 different puzzles that can be created. There are printed sheets that show examples of the puzzle scenes. Beautiful, colorful graphics! The box measures 12" by 9" by 2" and is wooden. There is wear on the cubes, puzzle sheets and box as expected for being over 100 years old.
This puzzle would be a fabulous accent piece on a table!
