19th Century French Calligraphy Journal w/ Drawings
This beautiful 19th century French handwritten journal features calligraphy and pencil drawings of a young girl's stories. The book is entirely handwritten. Titled, "MARIE MICHAUX" and dated 1884, there are 19 pages of calligraphy (18 pages have double-sided writing) and 10 pages of pencil drawings at the back. The journal measures 14" by 10." Nice condition with some small tears on the edges of a few of the pages. This is an exquisite piece and even more fabulous if you read French!
