Charming turn of the 19th century open sugar from the Hotel Manx in San Francisco. This hotel closed many decades ago. The creamer has an "HM" monogram on the front. The side rim and base have a beautiful and unusual Art Nouveau motif. I've never seen that before. This measures 5-1/2" from handle to handle and 3-1/4" tall. Bright shiny patina with clean interior. This piece was so heavily tarnished that it needed polishing by a silversmith. Now it has an amazing patina! Manufactured by Reed @ Barton. 7 ounces.
