This rare wooden handled coffee pot (also known as a French coffee server) is from the Hotel Commodore in New York City. It measures 9" tall, 11" from pot to end of handle. It is quite large holding 36 oz., and quite substantial in weight. It has beautiful detail throughout with a raised, "C" crest on the front. The interior is spotless and can be used for serving. This has been professionally polished and has a wonderful "butler's finish" patina with light pitting. Manufactured by Gorham and dated 1939. Would look fantastic with flowers!
