I fell in love with this mirror when I saw it! Photos don't do it justice. Dating to c. 1880, it is an all wood mirror, quite heavy and large in scale. It has a mechanism on the back to adjust its height and tilt at different angles. The glass has a thick beveled edge with a couple of areas of discoloration, adding to its aged patina. The white paint is definitely not new. It was probably painted many decades ago. There are some age cracks in the wood on the frame and base. This only adds to its beauty. It measures 19-1/2" tall. The mirror is 14" in diameter and the base is 11" in diameter. A wonderful scale. This would look great with modern or traditional decor. It would also be a wonderful store counter display.
