1917 Hotel Marie Antoinette, New York City Tray
This fancy silver plated tray from the Hotel Marie Antoinette, New York City dates to 1917. The hotel operated on the corner of West 66th Street and Broadway in 1900. It was demolished sadly demolished in the 1960s.
This very early tray has a beautiful ornate rim that matches its fancy name. It measures 10-1/2" by 7" and has polished up just beautifully.
It's in excellent antique condition with some light surface wear from age. It has a bright, shiny patina. A very heavy and solid tray for serving just about anything.
Manufactured by Gorham with the hotel's name stamped on the underside. The date symbol is Gorham's 1917.
I just love the name of the hotel! A fabulous early and collectible piece for your hotel silver collection!
