1920s Bowman Hotel Crested Creamer
Beautiful 1920s silver plate covered creamer from the Bowman Hotels. Bowman-Biltmore Hotels was a hotel chain created by hotel magnate John McEntee Bowman. That is why you see the same logo on Biltmore Hotel pieces.
This charming piece has a raised crest on the side with a B monogram. The piece has fancy mounts, including the attached base.
It measures 5" tall and 4-3/4" from handle to spout. The base is 5-1/4" in diameter.
It has a lovely patina with very little wear. It has a minor warping on the base. The lid opens up to a near spotless interior with only a couple spots of wear. The underside has some wear, but not noticeable since it's hidden.
The base is stamped, "Bowman Hotels 1929", and was manufactured by Gorham.
This really beautiful early piece of hotel silver is great for the Biltmore Hotel collector. An ornate piece for one's collection.
