19th C. French Glass Top 'Amitie' Friendship Keepsake Box

Rare and beautiful 19th century French domed glass hand painted 3-dimensional "amitie" (translates to friendship) keepsake box.

This wonderful petite box has a hand painted domed glass lid that rests on cardboard. There are some special elements inside the glass lid and the "Amitie" is hand painted and raised, creating the 3-D box. So amazing in person.

It measures 2-3/8" in diameter and stands 1" tall. It has a couple areas of wear to the cardboard as noted in the photos.
