19th C. Victorian 9K Gold Shield-Shaped Locket

Beautiful English Victorian c. 1880 9K rose gold shield-shaped locket pendant. 

The locket is engraved on the front and the back with acanthus leaves, and a vacant cartouche on the front in the shape of a banner. The locket opens to reveal to photo compartments.

It measures 1-1/8" tall by 7/8" wide. Total weight is 4.75 grams. The locket is 9K rose gold, back and front, unmarked but tested.
