Antique 1908 Plaza Hotel, New York City Crested Serving Dish
Wonderful antique silver plated serving dish from the Plaza Hotel in New York City dating to 1908.
This collectible and lovely dish has the desirable raised double P crest on the handle. It measures 9-1/4" long by 4-3/4" wide, and approx. 1-1/2" deep, and would have been used to serve a variety of side dishes.
Beautiful condition with a bright, shiny patina. Some light scratches and pitting commensurate with age.
Manufactured by Gorham and stamped, "The Plaza." Date symbol on the base dates the piece to 1908.
Plaza Hotel pieces have become quite scarce days, so this is a great piece for your collection!
