Antique Auditorium Hotel, Chicago Shapely Teapot
Beautiful Victorian-era shapely is from the former Auditorium Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. The hotel was housed in the historic, landmark Auditorium Building, and constructed in 1890. The hotel doesn't exist, but the building does.
This fancy teapot has the hotel's name and logo on the front. It measures 7" tall and 7" from handle to spout.
Nice butler's finish. Overall good condition with some light dings on the handle.
This would have been used for an individual serving of tea. The interior is worn, and can be re-plated for an additional fee per request. If for decorative purposes, it's a lovely old piece for your hotel silver collection.
Manufactured by Reed & Barton and stamped, "AUDITORIUM HOTEL."
