Antique Continental Silver Gilt Enamel Peacock Profile Snuff or Card Box

Stunning 19th century Continental European solid silver enamel snuff box. This is a part of a collection that I acquired from an old estate.

This striking antique unique box is adorned with peacocks and flowers. The peacocks flank a Roman side portrait. Box has beautiful hand engraving and opens up to a gilt wash interior.

It measures 3" long by 2-1/8" wide and weighs 70.55 grams. The piece is in superb condition with all of the enamel in tact.
