Antique Petite Gold-Filled Pools of Light Charm
Wonderful antique petite gold-filled pools of light charm.
Pools of light have a long, prized history. They were so named because when worn in natural light, the spherical crystals refract the light so that they seem to glow like little magical orbs of water or drops of light. Their popularity began in the late Victorian period and ended around the 1930s.
This wonderful petite orb does not open as a locket. It has faded sepia photos on both sides of the orb with a gold-filled band around it.
It measures approx. 10 mm round not including the bale. Note: it appears larger in photos than in person. It's quite small and dainty.
A charming little pools of light charm!
