Antique Mother of Pearl Crown Letter Opener

Unique c. 1880s mother of pearl letter opener with ornate gilt brass fittings.

The top of the opener has a fancy crown on both sides, and a lovely motif in the center-- also on both sides. It measures 7-3/4" long and approx. 1-1/4" wide. Excellent condition with no noticeable damage.

This would make a beautiful bookmark as well as a letter opener.  Perfect for your desk or cabinet of curiosities!
