Antique Edwardian Platinum Diamond Pendant & Chain, 1.0 CTW
Exquisite Edwardian era diamond pendant crafted in platinum, including a platinum chain. The design consists of layers of leaves sparkling with diamonds. Such a stunning motif with a dangling diamond drop at the bottom, adding to its charm.
The pendant consists of a 40 point (.39 carat) old mine cut center diamond surrounded by approx. sixty 1-2 point old mine cut diamonds. Total carat weight (CTW) of the pendant is approx. 1 carat.
The diamonds are incredibly beautiful and bright, and the entire piece comes alive at the slightest movement. Photos, of course, don't capture its sparkle.
The pendant itself measures 1-3/8" tall from the top diamond to bottom of the drop, by approx. 1-1/8" wide. Total weight including the chain is 5.1 grams.
It includes and 18" contemporary platinum chain that has had a small repair which is only noticeable close up. Chain is stamped 'platinum'. The pendant is not stamped but tests for platinum.
This beautiful piece came from an old San Francisco estate and looks absolutely stunning on!
