Antique Hotel Redondo Water Pitcher
Lovely 19th century silver plated water pitcher from the Hotel Redondo. The Hotel Redondo was located in Redondo Beach, California. It opened in 1890 and was demolished in 1925. The hotel, which had 225 rooms in three stories, was built in a High Victorian style.
The pitcher has the hotel's name beautifully hand-engraved on the side. It has a gorgeous bright patina and measures 9" tall and 9" from handle to spout. It's in nice condition with a small dent on the handle and a few small dings on the exterior. The interior base does have some plate loss at the bottom and we recommend replating if you wish to use for serving. If not, the pitcher makes a lovely vase or showpiece.
This is quite a heavy, solid piece. Manufactured by Meriden.
A really pretty piece that's over one hundred years old!
