Art Nouveau French Silver Sovereign Case, Ivy Repousse

Beautiful Victorian French sovereign case featuring repousse silver decorated with ivy leaves on both sides and gilded inside.

The case is quite unique with the ivy motif. It opens to a brass interior which holds old coins. It measures 2-1/2" by 1-1/4" and weighs 32.3 grams. 

Excellent condition. The bale is probably not original to the case.

A very special keepsake that would look wonderful worn as a pendant!
