Fancy c. 1900 Hotel Sherman, Chicago Teapot
Photos don't do justice to this fancy antique teapot from the Sherman House Hotel. The Sherman House was a hotel in Chicago, Illinois that existed from 1837 until 1973.
This highly ornate, shapely teapot has a raised crest on the side and is quite fancy. It measures 6-1/2" tall by 7-1/2" from handle to spout.
The teapot has been professionally polished by a silversmith and the inside, replated. This can be used safely for serving.
Manufactured by Reed & Barton and stamped, "Property of Hotel Sherman Co." Dates to the turn of the 20th century.
A beautiful early piece!
