Early 1900s Clift Hotel, San Francisco Covered Creamer
Imagine the bygone days of elegant hotel dining with white-gloved waiters serving you with the the most exquisite pieces.
This gorgeous covered creamer/teapot from the Clift Hotel in San Francisco dates to 1915. It has all of the bells and whistles with a fancy crest on the front and beautiful detail throughout. It can be used for tea or cream.
The piece measures 7-1/2" tall and 5-3/4" from handle to spout. It has a beautiful patina with a couple of small dings and some light surface wear commensurate with age. The interior is clean enough to use for serving.
It is manufactured by Gorham and stamped, "CLIFT HOTEL 1915 - 18 oz".
