Early 1900s Hotel Adelphia, Philadelphia Crested Jam or Mustard Jar

Elegant early 1900s silver plate crested jam or mustard jar from the old Hotel Adelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This fancy piece has the hotel's raised 'A' crest on the side. It has polished up beautifully and has its original glass insert.

It measures 2-3/4" tall and 3" wide including the handle. The base is stamped, "HOTEL ADELPHIA PHILADELPHIA" and is manufactured by Gorham. The date symbol is 1917.
