Early 1900s Palace Hotel, San Francisco Tureen
This lovely early 1900s silver plate covered tureen is from from the famed Palace Hotel in San Francisco. It was acquired from a long-time collector of rare hotel, railroad and steamship silver pieces.
The Palace Hotel is a landmark, historic hotel in downtown San Francisco and is still in existence today.
This pretty tureen has fancy engraving of "Palace Hotel" across the front. It has a stunning patina and is in near flawless condition.
It is a 1 pint tureen, and the attached base measures 7-3/4" by 6". It is 5-1/2" tall to the top of the finial.
Manufactured by Reed & Barton and dates between 1909-1912.
