Early Hotel Metropole, London Sugar Shaker
Quite scarce early silver plate sugar shaker/sifter from the Hotel Metropole, London. The hotel opened in 1885, and is now called the Corinthia Hotel London.
This beautiful large shaker has the hotel's name across the front. It measures 6-1/2" tall and the base is 3" in diameter. The piece has a beautiful bright patina with a spotless interior. Small ding on the base.
Manufactured by Elkington and with British hallmarks and stamped, "HOTEL METROPOLE LONDON".
