Edwardian 1911 English Silver Plate Wooden Trophy Fruit Bowl
Elegant Edwardian era oak and silver plate trophy pedestal bowl from the UK. The bowl is made from traditional English oak with a silver plated rim, handles, base, and shield.
The shield is engraved, "Presented to the Rev. R.W & Mrs Burnett As a Small Token of Esteem From Mr & Mrs Adam Colley 3rd July 1911".
The bowl measures 12" from handle to handle, opening is 9" in diameter and 3-3/4" tall.
Nice overall condition. There is crazing in the wood commensurate with age.
The would make a great centerpiece and would look fabulous with fruit. A really unique piece that's over 100 years old!
