Georgian 9K Gold Garnet & Rose Cut Diamond Ring
Exquisite Georgian 9K gold garnet and diamond ring dating to c. 1820.
The stunning ring features a brilliant garnet carbuncle (cabochon) surrounded by glistening, bright rose cut diamonds. The garnet measures approx. 10.68 mm by 9.36 mm. The face of the ring is approx. 17.49 mm tall by 14.49 mm wide.
Ring is gold and silver-topped with a split shank in rose gold. Ring has appropriate backing for the Georgian era. The ring could have possibly been handmade during the that era.
It is a US size 9.5, and could be resized. Total weight is 5.6 grams.
