Historic Antique Hotel Knickerbocker, Duvelleroy, Paris Opera Glasses
Beautiful pair of petite antique opera glasses by Duvelleroy, Paris for the historic Hotel Knickerocker in New York City. Duvelleroy is famous for making women’s fans and is still in operation today.
The Hotel Knickerbocker opened in 1906, and these are from that period. They appear to be alligator skin, and are stamped with the hotel's name on one side, and "Duvelleroy Paris" on the other.
They measure 3-1/2" long, 1-1/2" tall when fully extended, and 1" tall when closed. Excellent condition with no cloudiness in the view. They come in their original purse which has tattered from age.
A really rare and collectible piece!
